Three WishesI wanted three wishes

So I traveled to Egypt

In search of a magic lamp

I saw a shiny object on top of a pyramid

The object caught the sun's light

I climbed up the pyramid

On top of the pyramid

Stood a golden magic lamp

It was truly beautiful

The way it sparkled in

The sunlight

I carefully picked up the magic lamp

And rubbed it

In a puff of smoke

Out came a genie asking me

What my three wishes would be

I smiled at the genie and answered

My first wish is

I would like for the world to be peaceful

Not just for me but for everyone

My second wish is

To let you be free

The genie looked at me in shock

But why would you waste on

The Problem IsWell that's the price
The price you pay
When you want to stay but you push it away
You don't want to hurt
But you will either way
Your heart will keep breaking day after day

And it's a choice
That we all have to make
Whether it's worth it to leave or to stay
In truth, you can't leave
You've driven the stake
More steadfast than any promise they make

Some people are lucky,
I don't count myself one
If I try to give up, I end up all undone
If you can detach yourself,
Do, and have fun
But I'll keep on staring straight into the sun

For the one hope I need and the one hope I've lost
The hope I'll strive for, no matter the cost
It

EyesI look into your eyes,
And see much more,
Than that blank stare,
I see happiness, joy, tranquility,
Anger, angst, dread,
But most of all,
I see love,
Love for the world,
Love for your life,
But most of all,
Love for me.

His Last MemoriesHis Last Memories

Children, no one told you,
they called you freak and ran.
Lean on each other,
he will be the last to leave.

Children, no one told you,
they never said love could hurt.
Dance until there is nothing,
he will keep that which remains.

Children, no one told you,
they who surround you can not be trusted.
Trades are dangerous,
he will risk everything for you.

Children, no one told you,
they will all fall around you.
Stand for the only hope,
he will pick you up from where you lay.

Children, no one told you,
they will use you without thought.
Hold strong to what is the last,
he will carry on to protect what he can

Make It StopI feel like inside I'm dying,
Holding back from sobbing, crying.
What do I do to stop this?
I want out of this dark abyss.

I feel like I'm being ripped at,
Like in my face something spat.
That everything is gone from me,
And it's not just me being lonely.

There are no words to fully describe,
No way to even completely imbibe,
Just how lost and gone I feel.
No way it seems to begin to heal.

I feel as though life and breath,
As if they have gone and in place death.

I'd rather be lightI'm amused to be accused
By such a threat
The answer to your question
Is that I'll forget
All the lies I despise
which you have told
Never did I think
Your heart was so cold
But I'll live and forgive
The times we would fight
Because instead of darkness
I'd rather be light

The reward was said to be great.
But not even cupid himself

Only to steal their innocence and beauty
Leaving them grey and lifeless.

You would cage their fluttery hearts,
Never to allow them their freedom.
You would torture them with broken promises,
Until they could trust no longer.

Did you ever ponder,
All the agony your victims endured

You Remember Strange ThingsI don't recall until you do
the odds and ends of the two of us.

You remember I borrowed your pen once.
I can't find the memory,
but my hands remember taking it from yours.

You remember things I say when I don't expect you to,
and you always seem to bring them up
when we run out of things to talk about

Still you always forget where to meet me.

You memorize all kinds of taxonomy.
You gave me a kiss for my birthday
And the memory of when I said you smelled like
Helianthus annuus

You don't remember the day we met.
You were wearing yellow
and you said my name sounded familiar.

I drew you a picture of sunflowers when I remembered

Ring around the roisesRing around the rosie ,A rosy rash
pocket full of posies ,posies make it smell better
ashes,ashes ,burn the bodies,burn the houses
we all fall down ,sneeze and you die

I've lost all,

The demon he screams.
Yearning for someone
To heal his dreams.

The tortured soul,
Is nothing to fear.
He's not as harmful,
As he may appear.

The evil inside,
Some can't contain it.
The answers not always
To beat and restrain it.

Treat him with respect,

This illness gets

The powers that control meThe Powers That Control Me

I was created to destroy
With many tools at my disposal
Taught by and watching
Those more experienced than I,
I became more proficient
Far surpassing them in the art of war

I left no foe undefeated,
Except for one,
Myself.

I'm good at destroying things
And that's all I've ever known.
I'm afraid that the ones innocent
Will undoubtedly become hurt or worse,
Just for being around me.

Yes. That means I'm afraid of myself.
Yes. That means I don't trust myself.
And yes. That means I cause a lot of trouble
For myself and others.

I've tried my hand at acting
I've tried my hand at playing
I've tried my h

The Cruel RealityI used to love fairytales
Then I discovered reality
In fairytales the good people always win
There's always a "happy ending"
Someone is always willing to help the princess
There is a "true loves kiss"
The sad fact is
That rarely happens in reality
There is no pretty little bow to wrap around it and call it life
Most of the time, the good people choose not to shine
There's no "Once upon a time....they all lived happily ever after"
In real life, the world we live in
There are dying people
There's the homeless, the hungry, the forgotten
People bully each other for no reason at all
And sadly, the bully usually wins
Fairytales are

Paper HeartsDelicate love, simple and pure,
Terrifyingly fragile, gripped by another,
Emptiness, anticipation,
Quivering white, paper thin,
Longing for the metal scratch,
And seeping black,
Marking and writing and scarring,
Words and actions, smiles and slaps,
All added, all listed,
A first, a last, seeping black,
Creeping, weeping, seeping black,
Staining swirls, another word,
Each strangers face, each desperate day,
Another story, fable, poem,
Recorded down, lightning fast,
Trapped, deep within a forever,
Unmoveable and unbreakable,
Painfully permanent,
Pressing pens made by lovers,
Engraving lives on paper hearts,
Lonely, fragile,

Small DosesThat sticky, uncomfortable annoyance
When it's so hot your pants stick to your legs.

Your fleeting rapid thoughts
That spread like the plague.

My mind is nothing to toil with
It reaches far beyond your length.
I'm a pawn in my own game.

Tangle, whipped, chained, lock
I am my own fortress
I can't be stopped.

Resilient, persistent, strong and bold
Watch out for her heart, it's cold.

Broken, battered, cut and bruised
I've seen more than you would ever choose.

Bandaged, stitched, glued and torn
I heal quick and dive for more.

Tired, weak, empty, alone
I've bathed in this when I need to mourn.

Happy, elated, flutter, fright
Circ

New HopeAs I lay in the dark,
The world's ripping apart.
I fall further down,
Till no one can hear a single sound.
With the end of this world brings new life,
One where no one lives in strife.
With every push and shove,
I grow closer to the one I love.
Everytime I fall,
There was no one there at all.
Why am I so cold,
Without my beautiful soul.
Love has finally set me free,
So darkness leave me be.

Some wish to be rich,
While some wish to be wise.
Some wish to stop that itch,
Others wish of winning a prize.
Some wish to be known,
Some wish they could be a star.
Some wish to sit on the throne,

We all have a specific goal that we write for,
Even if it sometimes start to feel like a chore.

When our minds are shrouded and we can't think clear,
That's perfectly normal have no fear.
We might not be able to write about the things we like,
Then sometimes the most brilliant inspiration will strike.

Until we get inspired we should practice writing more,
Even if it's just a simple story about how you went to a store.
We must broaden our horizons for new themes and such,
Maybe we find a subject for which we have a special touch.

So prepare for your insp

Passion

Passion is like a flame,
It's never the same.

It will bring inspiration,
It can bring frustration.
Passion can make you create,
It can irritate.

It can destroy,
It can bring joy.
It can make you feel sad,
It can make you go mad.
It can make you smile,
It will make your time worthwhile.

Passion is what drives us,
It's what makes us work towards success.

The meaning of passion is up to yourself,
Just like my meaning is up to myself.
But remember that your passion helps you realize your dream,
And remember that even if you are working hard, you should ''carpe diem''.

SilenceThey say speaking is silver and silence is gold,
In some cases it might be true.
But there is also a truth that goes untold,
Even if it might be quite blue.

Silence is sometimes bad,
Not always so don't get upset.
Some things that are evil can make us go mad,
Some things that are even a threat.

Even if your enemies will make your blood boil,
The silence of your friends will be what hurts you more.
Words might hurt us, but silence can torment us.

Stars in the nightThe sun is just a star,
Like the others we can see from afar.
The sun is a source of life and light,
So why not the other stars we see at night?

Countless other worlds could exist.
They might be similar to ours but with a twist.
So maybe when we look up at the sky,
There might be someone looking back from up high.

There's more to this universe than we know,
But we are uncovering it's secrets, even if it's going slow.

CourageEverybody will have one or multiple fears,
Some of them can bring us to tears.
Our fears will never leave us,
A fear is something we will always possess.

When we face that which we fear,
Even if it's only once a year.
We might be scared to death,
Slowly trying to get control over our breath.
Our heart is beating at a much faster pace,
We might even try to maintain a straight face.

Someone who is courageous,
Even if what that person does might be outrageous.
Is somebody who still fears like you and me,
But who still dares to be and think free.

True courage is not hiding from your fear,
But to face your fear head on, even if you'

What is art?

'Describe what you call art'
To me art is something from the heart.
It's an embodiment of a vision,
It's a display of ambition.

An artist's work is never done,
Cause to the artist the work is only part of the fun.
An artist tries to show his emotions,
While sometimes hiding his true motions.

They say the eyes are the gate to the soul,
That's why an artist will never look foul.
They guide people through a world only they see,
A world filled with mountains, miracles, oceans and land seas.

So whenever somebody asks me: 'What is art?'
I do not only answer: "Something straight from the heart,
It's everything we know and that which we don't know.
It's hidden by the illusion of reality only certain people can see through."

I like this. It's very good and basic, and some writers go over-the-top when they do things like this. It's refreshing to see a writer who can keep it simple but wonderful.
